Twenty Years In: Thank You, Jon. Thank You, Agility.

Travelleadership

A thank you to Jon Voigt and Agility CMS for the Scotland trip on my 20th anniversary. It was on my bucket list. I don't think of it that way anymore.

Twenty years! (Actually it's twenty-one now - it took me a year to figure out how to get my shit together)

This trip to Scotland was a gift from Jon Voigt and the whole team at Agility CMS for my 20th anniversary with the company. I want to say thank you, properly, because a gift like this doesn't happen everywhere. Jon, thank you. Agility, thank you.

When I started this series, I called the first post the Anti-Bucket List. This trip had always been on my "bucket list," but at 50 I was starting to see it differently. I wrote that the goal isn't to arrive somewhere... the goal is to be on the journey, and to take other journeys after this one.

Now that I'm home, that's exactly how it feels. This wasn't a box I checked. It was a step. One of many, I hope.

Our lives are like a pilgrimage. We are travellers, and sometimes we are passengers, sometimes drivers. My time at Agility has taught me to recognise what's important to me, and how to be in the moment.

This series has been a joy to live through, and I can't wait to travel again and take what I've experienced and learned and build on it.

I have to say... I'm happy to be back with my folks at Agility, working through the stuff we're grinding on. We are a team, and I belong with them.

Great things brewing!
